This is a fun event for all children in the novice categories.
Medals will be awarded to 1st. 2nd and 3rd places.
Participation certificates for all other competitors.

KATA
Kata that may be performed:
• Yoji Kata
• Kihon Kata
• Taikyoku Shodan
• Heian Shodan
• Heian Nidan
• Heian Sandan
Counting will be allowed.
Scoring will be done by points.
JURUKEN
• 4 to 8 years (30 seconds time limits);
• 9 to 12 years (60 seconds time limits).
The competitor will do sparring against one of the big standing punching bags and will be judged on the amount of proper/effective attacks (punches, strikes and kicks); their technique and their spirit.
Two (2) competitors will go on together and the flag system will be used to indicate the winner.
Protection gear: white or red bubble mitts.
