Venue: Danie van Zyl Hall/Recreation Centre, Rex Street, Newlands, Montclare Central, Randburg, 2092.

Time: Competitors to be there from 08h00 and Officials to be there at 07h00

Entry Fee: R160 per category, R50 p/p for a team category. No spectator or coaches fees.

ENTRIES OPEN: 14 MAY 2026

ENTRIES CLOSE: 29 MAY 2026 (No late entries will be accepted!)

Changes to ENTRIES can be made: 01-03 JUN 2026

PAYMENT DUE: 30 MAY 2026

This is an All Styles tournament, open to all dojos regardless of your South African affiliation and will be using amended WUKF Rules.

All dojos must please supply table officials and judges/referees to enable us to run a smooth and fair tournament. Officials must be 15 years of age and older and must hold at least 3rd kyu brown belt.

NO refunds will be given for no-shows or competitors unable to compete due to illness on the tournament day.

WUKF Competition rules will be used, with the some exceptions/changes set out in the invitation document.

Kata will be scored by using POINTS and Kumite will use a KNOCK-OUT system.

NOTE: INCLUSIVE CATEGORIES
Inclusive categories are for competitors with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory impairments or neurological disorders.

Inclusive competitors can enter general kumite & team events as well, but not individual kata.

Divisions may be combined if less than 3 entries.

General Kata & Kumite Groups:
Belts: White-Orange (10-7th Kyu), Green-Purple/Red (6-4th Kyu) & Brown-Black (3rd Kyu-Dan)
- Children : 07-08, 09-10, 11-12 years
- Mini Cadets: 13 years
- Cadets B: 14 - 15 years
- Cadets A: 16 - 17 years
- Juniors: 18 - 20 years
- Senior Open: 18 years +
- Veterans: 36 to 44 years
- Masters: 45 years +

Inclusive Kata & Combat Groups:
All Belts.
Any kata, 1 round
Combat: Kihon (Basic) & ChuKyu (Intermediate)
- Children: 07-12 years
- Cadets: 13-17 years
- Open: 18 years+

General Team Kata & Rotational Kumite Groups:
All Belts.
Team Kata: Any kata, 1 round. Same and Mixed Teams allowed.
- Children: 10-12 years
- Cadet B: 12-15 years
- Cadet A: 14-17 years
- Open: 16 years+
NOTE: We have changed the age divisions for registration, to allow for the implementation of Art 2.4 that allows for pulling up a team member from the previous age category).

General Kata Rounds:

07-12 years: Green-Purple/Red (6-4 Kyu), 2 Rounds. May NOT repeat a kata.
07-11 years: Brown-Black (3rd Kyu-Dan). 2 Rounds. May NOT repeat a kata.
12 years: Brown-Black (3rd Kyu-Dan), 2 Rounds. May NOT repeat a kata.
13 years+: Green-Purple (6-4 Kyu), 2 Rounds. May NOT repeat a kata.
13 years+: Brown-Black (3rd Kyu-Dan). 2 Rounds. May NOT repeat a kata.
