Tshwane Karate Open Championship 2025

Greetings to all Dojo Owners,

We have the pleasure to invite you and your dojo to participate in the 1st WUKF Tshwane Karate Open Championship taking place during September in Centurion. This event is for Karateka from age of 5 to 80.
This championship is a regional event that is open to surrounding clubs as we encourage friendship, participation, and interaction, between all the clubs and pomotion of WUKF.

We provide an opportunity for dojos to introduce novice students. Furthermore we provide a competitive environment and prepare experienced athletes for upcoming provincial and national competitions.We encourage all dojos to motivate their members to become involved as judges and officials so that all our athletes may benefit from the advantages that come from having experienced and qualified officials assisting at events. It also leads to a more efficient run tournament and reduces the workload for each official.

A tuck shop will be available for our competitors and spectators, with a card facility for payment. Our officials will be catered for throughout the championship. The following service providers will be present on the day:
1. The Karate Shop.
2. Photographers.

Closing date: You'll need a link for registration, so if you did not receive one, kindly send us a message. Please adhere to the closing date so that we can prepare a schedule for your convenience. The Program will be an indication only so that you don't have to wait the full day, but please understand staying on schedule depends on many factors, especially having sufficient judges and officials. Kindly help us in that regard.

NO entries from individual students will be accepted. Kindly pay your fee to your club, who will then make a combined payment for the event. Unfortunately, NO refunds will be given for no-shows or competitors unable to compete due to illness on the tournament day.
