Novice - less than 2 years in Karate
Intermediate - more than 2 years but not Black belt
Elite Divisions – Age as per day of Tournament or KC age Matrix (not both). KC Age Matrix:
U14 Kata and Kumite - born between Aug 23 2010 and Jul 4 2012
Cadet Kata and Kumite - born between Aug 23 2008 and Oct 9 2010
Junior Kata and Kumite - born between Aug 23 2006 and Oct 9 2008
U21 Kata and Kumite - born between Aug 23 2003 and Oct 9 2006
Senior Kata - born on or before Jul 4 2008
Senior Kumite - born on or before Jul 4 2006
