Dear Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors, Parents and Students,
It is Advantage Taekwondo’s pleasure to invite you to the 9th Lititz Tournament to be held on March 12th, 2022 at the Warwick Middle School, located at 401 Maple Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
My dream continues, this year, to host another tournament that all Taekwondo schools, regardless of their affiliation, will come together and compete in honor of the legacy of General Choi. This has been successful in the past and I sincerely hope to continue this year with the help from each of you.
This tournament is for all ages, beginner through advanced. The registration will be on https://www.kihapp.com/tournaments/8498-lititz-tkd-tournament and follow the link for the registration. The deadline for registration is March 7th, 2022. Every registration needs to be completed on line and done by the 7th of March 2022, no exceptions.

AWARDS:
Sparring and Patterns: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Medals (one third place only)
Flying Side Kick: 1st Place Medal only
* Flying side kick will be judged based upon the competitor’s ability to execute a proper kicking technique against a target while jumping over a horizontal bar without knocking the bar down. The bar will be placed higher after each successful round until a winner is determined.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Competitor Check-In 8:00 a.m.
Referee Meeting 8:30 to 8:50 a.m.
Opening Ceremony 9:00 a.m.
Color Belt and Black Belt Competition
(Individual Patterns, Sparring & Flying Side Kick) Competitions will begin immediately following the Opening Ceremony

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
Sparring: Boots, Gloves, Headgear, Shin Guards, Mouth Guards, and Cups for Males
*Competitors of 15 years of age and up, must have hand and foot protection approved of by the ITF or similar safety committee.
*No open hand or boxing gloves will be permitted. Equipment deemed too dangerous may result in the competitor’s disqualification unless acceptable replacements can be found within two minutes.

ENTRY FEES AND ADMISSION:
Entry fees apply to participate are as follows:
1 or 2 events: $80.00
3 events: $100.00

Spectators Fee: $5.00 (Children under 3 years free)

***NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER March 7th, 2022***
