Funakoshi Karate International Australia Training Cup

Free competition training day for all FKIA registered karateka to get in some practice under tournament conditions. Some safety equipment will be available, any that you can provide for yourself and others would be appreciated.
There will be an opportunity to sell any second hand equipment for others to use - car boot style.
Free choice kata. Kata judging by traditional WKF flags up to age 13. New WKF scoring system from 14 and above.
WKF points scoring kumite. 2 minute bouts under 18. 3 minute bouts over 18. Genders will be mixed unless sufficient entries to split pools.
We will try to make it so that an age group can get through kata and kumite in one time slot before moving to the next group. This will depend on the number of entries and will be communicated closer to the day.
First bout to begin at 10AM. Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first bout to register your attendance and to make sure you have the correct equipment.
