General Information
Please review the Tournament Waiver linked to the left below under the heading Information.
With the exception of team prospects, athletes may register in one kata and one kumite division appropriate for their rank / skill level according to the following:
Novice - White to Orange (10th kyu - 6th kyu)
Intermediate - Green to Blue/Purple (5th kyu - 3rd kyu)
Advanced - Brown (1st kyu to Dan) and up and KA Team Prospects
Team prospects may register in 2 kata and/or 2 kumite divisions if they are eligible for 2 divisions based on age as of U14, Cadet and Jr PanAms.
Note - Team Prospects can only compete in Advanced Divisions and only results from Advanced divisions will be considered team selection purposes.
Note that new Advanced U12 divisions have been added for this tournament.
Advanced Only Age Details:
U12 - 10 as of day of tournament
Youth (U14) - 12 as of August 27, 2027
Cadet - 14 as of August 27, 2027
Junior - 16 as of August 27, 2027
U21/Senior Kumite - 18 as of March 31, 2027 OR May 13, 2027 (Phase 1 Karate Canada Qualification Event)
U21/Senior Kata - 16+ as of March 31, 2027 OR May 13, 2027 (Phase 1 Karate Canada Qualification Event)
