We are delighted to bring back the Aberdeen Open!! We look forward to welcoming you all to the awesome Aberdeen Sports Village for what promises to be an amazing day of Martial Arts. Please see below the information for this event.

• Spectator tickets are £15 on the day CASH ONLY on the door. All under 5's are free of charge.

. Entries for your age category will be based on your age as of the day of the competition.

. Weigh in will be available on Saturday night time and venue TBC. All other weigh ins will be on the morning of the event.

. Event start time will be 10.00am after weigh in is complete.

• There will be ZERO TOLERANCE ON WEIGHT. Should you fail to make weight for your category, you will be disqualified and will not be moved up or down a section. Please note you have up until the week before the event to login in to your Kihapp and edit your categories if required.

• Novice sections are for NOVICE competitors only. This means competitors with limited experience of up to 1 years training or no more than 3 matted events. Restriction on technique – no spin kicks, back kicks or jumping kicks. Should WKU officials believe the competitor is not a novice, they can and will be disqualified. Under no circumstances should any competitors be registered for a novice category AND an advanced category, within the same section. The onus is on COACHES to make sure your competitors are in the correct categories.

. You can not fight up an age group but you can fight up a weight in the same age group. Strictly no under 18's in adult categories.

• Kick Light: Competitors must wear Foot and Shin protection, NO Shin and Instep.

. The team with the most overall points at the end of the tournament will be crowned Team of the Tournament.
