2026 AAITF Open National Championships

AAITF Open National Championships will be held on 29th and 30th August 2026 at Swan Christian College, 381 Great Northern Hwy, Middle Swan WA 6056 hosted by GM Dr Linda Low, Inspirit Taekwon-Do Academy and Master Jason Bradley, Oceanic Taekwon-Do Academy. The tournament is open to everyone regardless of affiliation.

- Sparring
- Special Techniques
- Power-Breaking
- Self-Defense Routine
- Team Patterns
- Team Sparring
- Junior Agility Event

All events are divided by age, gender, rank and, where relevant, by weight.
Organiser reserves right to merge or split divisions.

All events will be base on ITF tournament rules 2026 (ITF-Vienna).

Compulsory protective equipment for sparring:
- Head guard
- Mouth guard
- Closed gloves 10 oz (8 oz for ages 13 and below)
- Breast protector (for female competitors only)
- Shin guard
- Foot protectors (must protect: instep, side of the foot and back of the heel)
- Groin guard (for male competitors only)

Optional protective equipment for sparring:
- Forearm guard
- Chest/rib protector (e.g. Hogu)

Power-Breaking is Adults and Veterans only event. (18 year and over)

Team Events:
- Team Patterns: the team can be composed of any competitors in the age division (mixed rank and gender is allowed); the team can be between 3 to 5 competitors
- Team Sparring: the team must be of appropriate age and gender (mixed gender and age is NOT allowed); the team can be between 4 and 6 competitors
- Self-Defense Routine: team must submit sequence of compulsory techniques in writing to the table; female heroine will verse 2 people (male or female), male hero will verse 3 males; mixed age is NOT allowed

All competitors are required to fill in the medical form attached and email it to the organiser by registration deadline.
Registration closes on 31st July 2026.
All draws will be published on 10th August 2026.
