Evolution Club Championship 26

Evolution Martial Arts invite all of our members to our club championship on the 7th of June 2026.

Where numbers allow you will compete within your own belt rank and age group, however in a lot of instances we will need to combine divisions/age groups to create a fair competition. This can sometimes result in competitors competing with different forms and techniques. Our judges are trained in how to fairly score forms and techniques should this occur. Any division that has less than 3 competitors will be combined with another similar rank/age to create a fair but still competitive event.

Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place only. No 4th place medal for the club championships.

There will be an Evolution Grand Champion awarded for this tournament. The winner will be the Black Belt student that competes in all categories and scores the highest points overall. Gold = 6 points, Silver = 4, Bronze = 2 points.

Categories include:
-Forms (Hyung)
-Techniques (Sool)
-Sparring
-Staff (Red Belt and higher)
-Self Defense (DBN and Black Belt)
-Sword (Black Belt) 

-(Mirae) Bae Ki Hyung (DBN and Black Belt)
-(Mirae) Joong Bohn Ee Hyung

JKN and KSN categories will be combined but split Youth and Adult.

Sparring - Depending on numbers you may be sparring against people of different ranks but of similar age. Divisions will be drawn up once registration has closed and will be as fair as we can make it. Where possible it we will try to have same rank & age together. Will be split male/female.

There is a cafe on site for lunch and refreshments however NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE HALL (except water).

Date: Sunday 7th June 2026

Time: 10-3 - We will provide more accurate times closer to the date. We will start with Black Belts then move onto kids, finishing with youth and adult.

Venue: Dunfermline Learning Campus, Woodmill Games Hall
