GENERAL INFORMATION
International Open Newcomer Championship 2026

The International Open Newcomer Championship 2026 will take place on March 20–21, 2026 in Korneuburg, Austria, at the Guggenberger Sport Hall.
This event is organized by the WKF Lower Austria (World Kickboxing Federation) and is open to all federations, clubs, teams and nations.
The tournament is specifically designed for newcomer athletes with 0–5 fights only in their respective discipline.

Kids categories available in Light Contact and Kicklight

Eligibility:
Maximum 5 fights in the respective discipline
Valid medical certificate (not older than 12 months)
Official sport pass or event license
Parental authorization required for athletes under 18

Schedule:
Friday, March 20, 2026
Weigh-in and registration: 16:00–20:00
Saturday, March 21, 2026
09:00 – Referee meeting
10:00 – Opening ceremony and start of fights

No new registration or weigh-in will be possible on Saturday.

Equipment:
Athletes must bring their personal equipment such as:
Mouthguard
Groin guard
Chest protector (women)
Appropriate sports clothing
Shin Guards
Boxing Gloves (10oz)
Helmet

Registration Deadline:
March 18, 2026 – 18:00
Late registrations or weight class changes after the deadline are not possible.

We are expecting international teams from Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Germany.
