General Information

Competition Practice – Everyone’s Welcome!

This event is a friendly Competition Practice designed to help everyone grow — whether you're a Competitor, Referee, Judge, Recorder/Timekeeper or Coach. It’s all about learning, building confidence, and having the chance to experience a real tournament setting.

The session will focus on how all roles interact within a Karate competition, helping participants to understand their responsibilities and how they contribute to a fair and well-run event. It will include practical work on Kumite, with emphasis on the flag signalling system, as well as Kata procedures, including competitor presentation and performance standards.

You’re welcome to enter Kumite and/or Kata, for free.

On Tatami 1, a structured mini-tournament will be organised with limited categories, capped at 10 competitors per category.

Tatami 2 and Tatami 3 will remain available for open practice, allowing competitors to train and refine their performance freely.

Come along, give it your best, and most importantly — enjoy the experience. Good luck!
