BUDO ALL STYLES TOURNAMENT 2026
Please remember that this friendly tournament intended for development of the students.
AMENDED WUKF RULES APPLY
VENUE: Korfball Hall, C/o Frederika & 10th Ave, Gezina, Pretoria
Schedule will be published in the week of the event.
Please arrive at least 30min before your first event.
Please be sure to have your entry in by 6 May.
Register your referees, judges and officials for the day.
Please register all red belts as purple.
Tournament will have 3 different sections:
KATA
STRUCTURED KUMITE ( white - orange belts only)
KUMITE
AGE DIVISION:
This is the age on day of tournament.
6years; 7years; 8 years; 9 years; 10 years; 11 years; 12 years
13years; 14/15 years; 16/17 years;
Juniors: 18/19/20/21 years;
Seniors: 22-35 years;
Veterans: 36 +
*Divisions could be combined
KATA
White - Orange belts
Shitei, only one round.
Green - Red Belts:
Multiround
1st Round Shitei (Top 6 will progress to 2nd round)
2nd round Shitei / Sentei, (No repeating, unless in tie situation)
Brown & Black Belts:
1st Round = Shitei/ Sentei/ Tokui (Top 6 will progress to 2nd round)
2nd round = Shitei/ Sentei/ Tokui (No repeating of a kata)
KUMITE
Children categories:
Shobu Nihon
6-9 yrs
1:00 effective time
10-12 yrs
1:30min effective time.
NO Face contact will be allowed
NO ringside coaching allowed
Cadets:
13-17yr

R20 PER SPECTATOR ENTRY FEE PAYABLE AT THE DOOR ON DAY OF TOURNAMENT
