We hereby invite you to participate in the Rotterdam Open Sports Karate Tournament for Teens and Adults (13 years and up), Semi-Contact Point-Fighting on Sunday, April 19th, 2026.

This open tournament offers the participating athletes the opportunity to compete against others in various weight classes and styles. The organization guarantees a sporting event you don’t want to miss!

- 18+ OPEN WEIGHT GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL (between de 1st place winners of each black belt division).

Regulations:
Rotterdam Open “Point Fighting” rules (based upon WAKO regulations) with repechage round.
Height Classes up to 15 years: -140cm, -150cm, -160cm, -170cm, +170cm
Weight classes:
16-17 years:
Male -60.1kg | 60.2-64.1kg | 64.2-69.1kg | 69.2-73.1kg | 73.2-78.1kg | +78.2kg
Female -48.1kg | 48.2-52.1kg | 52.2-56.1kg | 56.2-60.1kg | +60.2kg

18+ years:
Male -60.1kg | 60.2-64.1kg | 64.2-69.1kg | 69.2-74.1kg | 74.2-81.1kg | +81.2kg
Female 48.2-52.1kg | 52.2-57.1kg | 57.2-63.1kg | 63.2-69.1kg | +69.2kg

Prizes: 1st to 3rd place (trophies) + Style awards
Participation Fee: €20 per category
Spectator Entry Fee at the door: €5 (Children up to 5 years old enter free)

Important Notes
- A maximum of 2 coaches/carers per school .
- The organization reserves the right to merge/split the divisions in all categories in case of insufficient participants.
- Participants must carry valid identification.
- Double registration is allowed: cost €20 per extra category.
- Please ensure your registration is complete and accurate.
- ENTRY REGISTRATIONS AFTER THE DEADLINE IS NOT POSSIBLE!
- It’s NOT possible to register or to make re-entries on the competition day itself.
- Participation in this tournament is entirely at your own risk.
