## 🗓 Event Overview
The **1st Internal London Martial Arts Centre Tournament** is a celebration of skill, growth, and community. Open exclusively to our current students, this in-house tournament offers a fun and friendly environment to gain experience, build confidence, and strengthen bonds.
* **📍 Location:** 190 Wortley Rd, Unit LL4
* **🗓 Date:** Saturday, June 21st, 2025
* **🕒 Time:** Starts at 10:00 AM (Expected to finish by 1:00 PM)

## 🗂 Tournament Categories
### 1. Noodle Fighting
* **Age Divisions:**
* 5–7 years old
* 8–12 years old
* **Format:** Round-robin
* **Equipment:** Foam noodles (provided by the school)
### 2. Hand Forms (Southern Style)
* **Age Divisions:** 8–10, 11–12, 13–17, 18–25, 26–35, 36–49, 50–65, 66+
* **Experience Levels:**
* *Novice:* Less than 18 months of training
* *Intermediate:* 18–36 months
* *Advanced:* 36–60 months
### 3. Long Weapons (Southern Style)
* Same age and experience divisions as Hand Forms
* **Weapons Provided** by the school
### 4. Team Forms
* Open to all ages
* Teams may present:
* Choreographed group forms
* Simulated martial arts scenarios

* **First Category:** \$25 + tax
* **Additional Categories:** \$10 + tax each
* **Spectator Tickets:** \$10 + tax

## 🥇 Awards & Medals
* Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category
* All children participating in Noodle Fighting will receive a **Participation Medal**
* **Note:** All tournament results are final. No appeals or reviews will be accepted.

## ⚔️ Noodle Fighting Rules
* **Format:** Round-robin
* **Victory:** First to 3 points per round
* **Match Structure:** Best of 3 rounds
* **Scoring System:**
* 1 win = 2 points
* Secondary ranking: Points scored vs. points received
* **Referees** will oversee each match

## 🧘 Hand & Weapon Forms Rules
* **Judging Panel:** 3 judges per competitor
* **Final Score:** Average of all judge scores
* **Ranking:** Based on descending score order
* **Tiebreakers:**
1. Older participant wins
2. Longer training duration
* **Restart Rules:**
* *Novice only:* May restart once with a 1-point deduction
* *Intermediate & Advanced:* No restarts allowed
### ❌ Score Deductions (applied after final scoring)

| Uniform is rotten, wrinkled, incomplete, or dirty | -0.5 pt |
| Unpleasant odour (body or uniform) | -0.5 pt |
| Disrespectful behaviour on mat or waiting area | -0.5 pt |
| Forgot form but continued | -0.3 pt |
| Forgot form and stopped | -0.5 pt |

## 👕 Uniform Requirements
* All participants must wear their **complete London Martial Arts Centre uniform**
* Uniforms must be clean, in good condition, and fully compliant with school standards

## 🧃 Amenities & Facilities
* **Only water** will be available during the event
* No food, merchandise, or concessions will be sold on-site
---
## 🙋 Parent Volunteers
* Volunteers play a vital role in the success of this event
* All registered volunteers receive **free spectator admission**
* Please sign up in advance at the front desk or during your registration process

## 🤝 Final Notes
This internal tournament is a positive and enriching experience for our students. We encourage good sportsmanship, mutual respect, and a spirit of learning. This is a **non-competitive**, community-first event where the goal is growth and shared enjoyment.
