1% K1 Novice Kickboxing Interclub

PLEASE READ!

1% K1 Kickboxing Interclub is aimed at NOVICE level competitors wanting to gain experience in controlled bouts against other clubs.

it is perfect for those with less experience and those who are just starting out, before moving on to larger interclubs or amateur bouts.

All bouts are scored a draw both competitors will have their hands raised & receive a medal.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER IF YOU HAVE HAD AN AMATEUR BOUT IN ANY DISCIPLINE.
(We may check this & refund your entry)

To keep this a novice friendly event all bouts will be closer matched on age, weight, gender & experience, please be fair & honest when completing the registration form.

Bouts are contested on a 5x5 metre matted area, all bouts are "Exhibition Bouts" & are "Non-Decision" to gain experience. We are looking to see skill not power, any excessive power or lack of control when using techniques will be issued a single warning and after that the bout will be stopped.

When selecting the experience level please refer to the following:

NOVICE: NO INTERCLUB EXPERIENCE
INTERMEDIATE: UNDER 5 INTERCLUB BOUTS
ADVANCED: OVER 5 INTERCLUB BOUTS

Each school/gym may have up to 2 coach entry passes.

In the interest of health & safety all competitors MUST inform us if their weight has changed by the registration cut of date to ensure all matches are made as fair as possible.

All competitors will be asked to "Weight in" upon signing in to the event, YOU MUST BE WITHIN 2 KG OF YOUR GIVEN WEIGHT TO BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE. please note you should NOT "cut weight" for this event.
