General Information
Welcome to the 10th Annual Lone Star Invitational Taekwon-Do Tournament.
If your Club/School is not showing in drop down, please see your Lead Instructor to have it added.
Tournament shirts will be available at the venue for $25.
There will be a concession stand out front with drinks, snacks and lunch options benefiting North Texas ITF Taekwon-Do, 501c3.
All Red and Black Belts should plan to assist with officiating. All Red and Black belts who attend the umpire meeting at 8:30 am will be awarded $10 lunch vouchers to use at the concession stand. All umpires need to dress in either full dobok, team tracksuit/club shirt or suit.
The tournament host reserves the right to make modifications to divisions as needed prior to and during the event to ensure a good experience for the competitors.
Categories of competition not listed on tournament registration (no additional fee):
Color Belt Chon-Ji Challenge (Male & Female 10th-1st gup)
Black Belt Chon-Ji Challenge (Male & Female 1st - 6th dan)
Adaptive Special Needs Chon-Ji Challenge (Male & Female - all ranks)
There will be intermittent WAKO ring exhibitions matches. Please message tournament host if you want to participate in an exhibition match.
All Adaptive Special Needs Competitors please message event host to be bracketed properly.
Grand Champions will be awarded as follows:
1 Male/1 Female Color Belt
1 Male/1 Female Pre-Junior/Junior Black Belts (ages 12-17)
1 Male/1 Female Adult Black Belt (ages 18-39)
1 Male/1 Female Veteran Black Belts (ages 40+)
Grand Champions will be determined based on medal awards, bracket sizes, and overall Umpire review.
