RULES:
1. The WUKF KATA list will be used, with the expectation that White and Pre-Yellow Belts may do Kihon Kata and/or Taikyoku Shodan.
2. WUKF Competition rules will be used, with the following exceptions/changes:
- Categories may be combined/amalgamated if less than 3 competitors or split to enhance the competition.
- Age groups have been customised as stated below.
- White to orange belts will only do 1 round kata.
- Green and higher will do 2 rounds and may not repeat a kata, even in a tie situation.
- Kobudo will do only 1 round and mixed gender. May repeat in the event of a tie.

3. Note: A knock-out system will be used.
UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT:
1. Bubble mitts for all kumite (ONLY red and/OR white).
2. Mouth Guards are compulsory for kumite.
3. Referee uniform: Grey pants, white short-sleeve shirt, tie, black soft-sole shoes, black socks, navy blazer (or your Organisation's official blazer), own whistle.
GENERAL CATEGORIES:
1. Kata: 6-8 Years; 9-10 years; 11-12 years; 13 years; 14-15 years; 16-17 years; 18-20 years; 21-35 years; 36+ years.
2. Shobu Nihon Kumite: 6-8 Years; 9-10 years; 11-12 years
3. Shobu Sanbon Kumite: 13 years; 14-15 years; 16-17 years; 18-20 years; 21-35 years; 36+ years..
4. Kobudo: 6 to 12 Years; 13 to 17 years; 18+ years
INCLUSIVE CATEGORIES:
1. For competitors with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory impairments or neurological disorders.
2. Inclusive categories will be mixed gender.
3. Kata age groups: 6-12 years; 13-17 years; 18+ years
4. Combat age groups: 6-12 years; 13-17 years; 18+ years
BELT CATEGORIES
1. Kata & Kumite: White to Orange; Green to Red; Brown and Black Belts
2. Kobudo: All belts
3. Inclusive: All belts
