General Information
Dear Grandmasters, Masters, Instructor, Students and Parents.
It is my pleasure to invite you to participate at the 2024 Spartan Cup Championship presented by
International Taekwon-Do Academy. This event will be held on Saturday May 18th, 2024, at Pomona High School. This event will give every competitor a forum to show his/her spirit, enthusiasm, and discipline to the art. The Championship will feature: 5 Matted rings. Custom cups. Custom medals. Grand Championship trophies. Grand Championship belts. Top 3 school award. Master/Instructor's recognition award.
The Spartan Cup Championship will consist of traditional pattern. Creative/Xtreme (Athlete can play music in this category). Weapons. Point sparring. Continuous Olympic sparring, continuous team sparring, and Clash of Spartans continuous individual sparring.
For continuous team sparring, each school is limited to five teams. Color and Black belt division
(3 MEMBERS) Under 8 years old Gender-neutral
(3 members) 9-11 years old (1). 12-14 years old (1). 15-17 years old (1). M/F Division.
(3 members) 18-32 years old (Color/Black belts – Male & Female division)
(3 members) 33+ years old (Color/Black belts – Male & Female division)
The team sparring will be OPEN WEIGHT and must be intermediate level and above. All are welcome to participate.
NEW EVENT: CLASH OF SPARTANS -
Each competitor will have another opportunity to spar for the Grand Championship belt. There will be NO second place in this event. Best of the Best!
On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, Doors open at 0700 for black belts. Black belts will compete first, starting at 0745. All color belts can start checking in by 0800. Competitors should arrive prior to 0830 to pick up credentials, or the day prior at the event location between 5-7pm. Black belt meeting will be held at 0830.

TEAM EVENTS:
For those competing in team events please assign one member of the team (Instructor) to be responsible for registering the whole team (Instructor can assist). As part of the team registration, you will need the competitors team code that they will receive once registered as an individual competitor and can be found on their registration email. If you need assistance, email me directly.
