Austrian Open

Die Austrian Open 2026 – European Cup finden am 02.–03. Oktober 2026 in der Guggenberger Sporthalle, Bankmanring 21, 2100 Korneuburg statt. Das Turnier ist ein internationales offenes Turnier und zählt als 1. Qualifikation für das WKF Nationalteam 2027.
Das Turnier wird vom Landesverband Niederösterreich / WKF Korneuburg veranstaltet. Supervisor der Veranstaltung ist Daniel Z. Hirlau.
Das Turnier umfasst folgende Disziplinen:
Formen, Semikontakt, Leichtkontakt, Kick-light, K-1, MMA und Amateur Boxen.
Zeitplan:
Freitag, 02. Oktober 2026 – Registrierung und Abwaage von 16:00 bis 20:00 Uhr in der Sporthalle.
Samstag, 03. Oktober 2026 – Referee Meeting um 09:00 Uhr, Eröffnung um 10:00 Uhr, anschließend Vorrunden und Finalkämpfe.
Am Samstag ist keine neue Registrierung, keine Anmeldung und kein Wiegen mehr möglich. Eine Video-Abwaage ist laut WKF-Reglement nicht zulässig.
Teilnahmeberechtigt sind Sportlerinnen und Sportler aus allen Verbänden, Nationen, Teams und Vereinen. Jugendliche unter 18 Jahren benötigen eine Einverständniserklärung eines Erziehungsberechtigten. Alle Mädchen ab 13 Jahren müssen eine entsprechende Erklärung unterschreiben.
Jeder Teilnehmer muss einen gültigen WKF Sportpass mit ärztlicher Bestätigung vorweisen. Die Teilnahme ist erst nach der ärztlichen Freigabe durch den Ringarzt bestätigt.
Die Startgebühr beträgt €45 für den ersten Start. Mit gültigem WKF Sportpass beträgt die Startgebühr €30. Jeder weitere Start kostet €15. Die Bezahlung erfolgt bar am Freitag bei der Registrierung in der Sporthalle.
Gekämpft wird nach den internationalen WKF Wettkampfregeln. Für Amateur Boxen gelten die Wettkampfregeln der Austria Boxing Union.

Tatami Vorrunden: 2 x 2 Minuten
Tatami Finale: 3 x 2 Minuten
Ringsport: 3 x 2 Minuten
Boxen Damen: 3 x 2 Minuten
Boxen Herren: 3 x 3 Minuten

Anmeldeschluss ist Mittwoch, der 30. September 2026 um 18:00 Uhr. Danach sind keine Änderungen der Gewichtsklasse und keine Nachmeldungen mehr möglich.
Bitte achtet genau auf die richtige Gewichtsklasse. Der Veranstalter übernimmt keinerlei Haftung.

General Information (English)
The Austrian Open 2026 – European Cup will take place on 02–03 October 2026 at the Guggenberger Sporthalle, Bankmanring 21, 2100 Korneuburg, Austria. The tournament is an international open event and also counts as the 1st qualification for the WKF National Team 2027.
The event is organized by the WKF Lower Austria Regional Association / WKF Korneuburg. The supervisor of the event is Daniel Z. Hirlau.
The tournament includes the following disciplines:
Forms, Semi Contact, Light Contact, Kick Light, K-1, MMA and Amateur Boxing.
Schedule:
Friday, 02 October 2026 – Registration and weigh-in from 16:00 to 20:00 at the sports hall.
Saturday, 03 October 2026 – Referee meeting at 09:00, opening ceremony at 10:00, followed by preliminary rounds and finals.
On Saturday, no new registration, no entries and no weigh-in will be possible. A video weigh-in is not permitted according to WKF rules.
The tournament is open to athletes from all federations, nations, teams and clubs. Participants under the age of 18 require a written consent form from a parent or legal guardian. All female athletes from the age of 13 must also sign the required declaration.
Each participant must present a valid WKF sport pass with a valid medical confirmation. Participation is only confirmed after medical approval by the ringside doctor.
The entry fee is €45 for the first start. With a valid WKF sport pass, the entry fee is €30. Each additional start costs €15. Payment must be made in cash on Friday during registration at the sports hall.
The competition will be held according to the international WKF competition rules. Amateur Boxing will be held according to the rules of the Austria Boxing Union.

Tatami preliminary rounds: 2 x 2 minutes
Tatami finals: 3 x 2 minutes
Ring sports: 3 x 2 minutes
Women’s boxing: 3 x 2 minutes
Men’s boxing: 3 x 3 minutes

Registration deadline: Wednesday, 30 September 2026 at 18:00.
After the deadline, no changes of weight categories and no late registrations will be accepted.
