General Information
Welcome to the Phoenix North American Championships. This event is being held in conjunction with the USA Qualifiers for the World Championships. All photos for this event will need to be standardized. The photos must be current "passport style photo" with a plain back ground. The photo should be taken of the competitor in do-bok, from the shoulders up and taken from 5-7 feet away. Black Belt photos should be labeled as last name first name and rank EX: LepleyMatt5.jpg Color belts should label their photos as last name and first name only ex: MarySmith.jpg (no rank)
If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt please know that they will only be available during this on-line registration for those who register on or before March 3rd, 2022. There will be no t-shirts available during late registration or at the tournament.
For those of you competing in team events please assign one member of the team to be responsible for registering the whole team. As part of the team registration, you will need the competitors team code that they will receive once registered as an individual competitor and can be found on their registration email.
Those of you interested in participating in the USA Qualifier the coaches will be entering you into divisions for patterns and sparring so make sure you have met the criteria and you have talked to the coaches. If you are trying to make the USA team in power breaking or specialty breaking be sure to sign up for the breaking in the North American Championships. You must have a current status card so please double check and make sure your status card will still be valid during the World Championships. If not update it!
All Black Belts should plan to assist with officiating.
Please note that we will follow the state and local COVID protocols. However regardless of protocols any student wishing to wear a face mask or face shield will be allowed to do so.
The tournament committee reserves the right to make modifications to divisions as needed prior to and during the event to ensure good experience for the competitors.
