The Oslo Wushu Open 2019 will be held on September 28th at BYGDØHUS ARENA: Huk Aveny 45, 0287 Oslo.
SCHEDULE
Friday 27th
20:00-21:00 Rigging of the arena, and open carpet
Saturday 28th
8:40-8:51 or 9:08-9:27 Bus line 30 "Bygdøy" from the Nationaltheateret station platform A to Bygdøhus tickets at Narvesen kiosks
9:00 Arena opens
10:00 March in for all teams
10:15 Taolu hand forms (see drawing and schedule for running order)
12:30 Lunch Break
13:30 Taolu weapons and team forms (see drawing and schedule for running order)
15:30 Medal ceremony and announcement of special awards
17:00 Social gathering, place TBA
Sunday 29th
9:00-12:00 Special sword seminar with Zhang Laoshi in the Olympic fencing hall
COMPETITION RULES AND FLOOR
The National version of the 1999 set of IWUF rules will be implemented. Modern optional forms with nandu can be performed in modern wushu but there will be no marks for difficulties or transitions.
Floor
The NKF Taolu carpet will be used at the competition. This is a thin carpet surface with a thick soft layer underneath, similar to the carpets used in cheerleading and gymnastics.
