This year we will be celebrating our 32nd Anniversary of Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate in South Africa. Our prestigious Nationals Tournament, hosted by Kyoshi Claude Johnson will be held in Port Elizabeth. This year we also welcome all styles affiliated to Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan SA to compete at our prestigious tournament. We would like to invite all students and parents to join us in celebrating this joyous occasion with us.

Closing Date: 18 Sept 2026 - No late entries will be accepted after the closing date. No exception or privileges will be granted.

Competitor : R 350 (competitor first category)
R 100 per additional category thereafter.
Kata Divisions : Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan members only.
Kobudo Long and Kobudo Short weapons : Separate Category’s.
Unison Kata : R 300 per Team
Rotational Kumite : R 300 per Team
Opens Kata (Shorin Ryu Shorinkan only) : R 100 per person
(any 2 Kata from the Shorinkan Syllabus. Black Belts only 16yrs & above)
Opens Kobudo (All Affiliated Styles) : R 100 per person
(one Long weapon and one Short weapon of choice. 16yrs & above)
Opens Kumite (Shorin Ryu Shorinkan only) : R 100 per person
(Black Belts only 18yrs & above)
Opens Kumite (All Affiliated Styles) : R 100 per person
(Black Belts only 18yrs & above)
NB : Please note in order to take part in the Opens events, you would have to have taken part your individual events first.
Affiliated Dojo’s will only be allowed to enter Kobudo Long and Short weapons divisions as well as Kumite.
Spectator Fee R 20.00 per person per day
Entry forms All entries will be done on the Kihapp system by the individual Dojo’s entering no later than 18 September 2026.
Entry Payments All entry payments to be made per Club into the following account no later than 18 September 2026. No individual entry payments please. Proof of payment to be sent to Mornay at sheqpe@reclam.co.za
